Lenny’s Shoe and Apparel Donates Over $675 of Pet Food and Supplies to the HSCC!

WILLISTON, VT – Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel donated over $675 of pet food and supplies to the Humane Society of Chittenden County today during their 11th annual donation drop off. This donation was made possible on behalf of Lenny’s generous customers through a coin-drop game. The money translated into 180 ounces of Timothy Hay, 120 cans of wet cat food,120 garbage bags, 96 pounds of dry dog food, 84 cans of wet dog food, 80 pounds of cat litter,72 dog treat pouches, 56 pounds of dry cat food, and 24 rolls of paper towels.

“Lenny’s staff are big animal lovers and we enjoy giving to the Humane Society.” said Marc LeBlanc, Buyer at Lenny’s. “In eleven years, we have donated over $6,000 worth of pet food and supplies!”

To kick off the New Year, Lenny’s will continue their efforts to support the Humane Society of Chittenden County. Visit the Williston store in the Tafts Corner Plaza to play the coin-drop game. All donations will go directly towards the care and comfort of the animals at the Humane Society.
